Schools Leagues
School leagues are local events normally set up and run by local orienteering clubs. Their aim is to provide orienteering competitions for local schools. They are an excellent type of event to take part in particularly if you are new to the sport. Schools competing for the first time are always welcome and advice will be available to help you get started. It may be better giving the
leagues co-ordinator a telephone call first for up to date information and advice. You need not compete, as a school you may like to try the sport on your own although having friends with you is more fun. At some school league events there may be a longer technical course for adults.

There are School Leagues all over the country. The following directory shows the web sites mentioning Schools Orienteering that BSOA is aware of, listed in a broadly North-South sequence.

The sites listed above are external to the BSOA, and BSOA cannot warrant any of the information contained therein.
