Accreditation Scheme

Schools who are members of BSOA may now apply to the association for accreditation and this will allow the school to have the BSOA logo incorporated into the school stationery if they meet the criteria below. The cost will only be an administrative fee of £5.00 and the accreditation will last for 3 years providing the school is still a member of BSOA.

THE CRITERIA
Schools wishing to apply for accreditation status should:
  • Have been members of BSOA for the past 2 years
  • Have at least one member of staff who is a qualified teacher leader or instructor/coach in orienteering
  • Hold regular training sessions
  • Show that orienteering is an element of the curriculum
  • Attend local club events
  • Attend county, regional or National Schools Championships

If you are interested and wish to apply, complete the downloadable form (RTF 20K) and return to Dave Brown, 21 Blacklow Brow, Huyton, Liverpool, Merseyside L36 5EX, enclosing a cheque for £5.00 payable to BSOA.
